Electric shower If the riser kit is supplied with a ‘soapdish hose retainer’ or bespoke ‘hose retainer’, it will in most cases meet this requirement. If the shower head can still be placed within a bath, basin or shower tray within the 25mm limit, then a double check valve or similar, MUST be fitted in the supply pipework to prevent back- flow.

Electric shower COMMISSIONING PROCEDURE Fig.16 WARNING Before normal operation of the shower, it is essential the following commissioning procedure is completed correctly. The first operation of the shower is intended to flush out any remaining unit debris and to make sure the heater unit contains water before the elements are switched on.

Electric shower After obtaining your preferred temperature, the control can be left as the normal setting and should only need altering to compensate for changes in ambient water temperature. NOTE: It is advisable to test the showering temperature by hand before stepping under the shower head.
