    6.3 Transferring a Patient Onto the Stretcher Note: If the patient must be immobilized, follow your local protocols. Refer to Figure 18 for examples of compatible Ferno products. Attach the pad to the stretcher by pressing the hook-and-loop pad and stretcher strips together.

    6.6 Using Models 71, 71-S in Water In a water rescue situation, models 71 and 71-S may be used in conjunction with Ferno’s Model 471 Flotation Collar (Figure 19), sold separately. Water-rescue situations are technical in nature and must be carried out only by specially-trained rescue personnel.
