16.1 Using Heater Bakeout

While the Heater Bakeout function is active, the REVEX power controller increases the voltage according to
the value (current or power) set by the user and the ramp time parameters for the Heater Bakeout function.
The Heater Bakeout function does not ramp the output above the normal process setpoint. Once the function
has run for the user-set time, the bakeout function terminates and the power controller attempts to perform
control to set point normally.
From configurator software, select "Warm-up strategy" mode
Use "Heater Bakeout Ramp Time (min)" to set the ramp duration in
minutes.
Range: 1-1.999 min
Default: 1
Menu: Advanced Setup (read/write)
Use "Setpoint of ramp(I(A)P(%))" to set the setpoint current in Amps if
MoSi2 is used, or % of Power relative to the nominal load power if SiC
elements are used.
Range: 0-999,9A (I) / 0-100% (P)
Default: 0
Menu: Advanced Setup (read/write)
Use "Heater Bakeout Off Time" to set how many minutes the heater can
be switched off for, before Heater Bakeout operation is activated the
next time the heater is used.
Range: 1-1.999 min
Default: 1
Menu: Advanced Setup (read/write)
