The Microsoft Excel application, and 'SHEET1.XLS' are specified by Integer point 'channelname'.

Integer This is an integer point which contains the return value of the
point DDEInitiate() command. Both server and topic parameters
applied to the channel in the DDEInitiate() command must be
open or an error is reported.
string This is an item as recognised by the server application. For
instance, a cell is an item within a spreadsheet application.
Likewise, a page is an item for a word processing application.
It is wholly dependent on the server application.
point This is a point whose attributes must include a DDE Access of
'Read/Write'.

bool Returnstate is '1' if the function is successful, or '0' otherwise.
Integer This is an integer point which contains the return value of the
