  • Page 5 When you are sawing always make sure that you do not cut through any nails, screws or the like. Set the distance between the riving knife and the tips of the saw blade teeth to a max. 5 mm, and set the distance between the tip of the riving knife and the lowest point of the saw blade to max.
  • Page 6 Insert the battery pack so that it is firmly held in the charger. Push the plug into the mains socket. The red charging light indicates that charging has begun. The red light will go out after about 1 hour.

    When fitting the blade, make sure that it is mounted in the correct direction of rotation SETTING THE GUIDE PLATE The default setting or the angle of the guide plate to the saw blade is 90°. If you wish to adjust this angle use the angle adjuster Please read the last part of these instructions for how to exactly adjust the angle adjuster.

    SETTING THE CUTTING DEPTH Please note! If possible we recommend that the cutting depth is set to 5 mm greater than the material thickness. This should help to ensure you achieve a clean cut. Release the wing nut on the depth adjuster , set the required depth on the scale and retighten the wing nut.
