5. Cleaning and maintenance
Before your cleaning, please unplug the electrical kettle and make sure it has
been cooled down.
never immerse any part of the cable, plug, power cord base or kettle in water or

piece of dry cloth.
never use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning agents as these may damage
the finish of your kettle.
Kettle interior:
Over time, limescale can build up inside the kettle.
Decalcifying the kettle can be done in three ways:
– With vinegar: dilute vinegar with water in a ratio of 1:2, pour the mixture to the
maximum level of the kettle, boil it and let it stand for 12 hours. After this time,
pour out the contents and boil the kettle several times with water alone to get
rid of the unpleasant odor,
– using citric acid: boil ½ liter of water, pour the contents of a bag of citric acid
into the kettle and set aside for 30 minutes. After this time, pour out the contents
and rinse with clean water,
– using decalcifying agents: follow the instructions provided with the product.
NOTE: Remember to rinse the kettle with clean water after using descaling
agents.
– After descaling, empty the kettle and rinse it several times with clean water.
