shank of the SDS- Plus type. Work with
other types is prohibited. The tool with
SDS- Plus shanks has free movement in
the clamping chuck, which is due to the
design features of the chuck, as a result
of which radial beating may occur in idle
mode. This does not affect the accura-
cy of drilling, as the tool is automatically
centered during operation.
Removing accessories (Fig. 5)
Pull back the locking sleeve (4) on the
chuck (1) and pull the accessory out of
the chuck (1).
Installation and replacement of the
quick-release cam chuck (for the
RH-100Q model) (Fig. 6)
The RH-100Q rotary hammer comes with
a quick-release cam chuck, which can be
used to install accessories with a round or
hexagonal shank section.
To replace a chuck with another one, it
is necessary to pull the locking sleeve (1)
with force and disconnect the installed
chuck(2) from the spindle.
To install a quick-release cam chuck, it is
necessary to pull the locking sleeve (1),
install the chuck (3) on the spindle and,
turning it in any direction, hit the locking
grooves. Release the locking sleeve and
make sure that the chuck is firmly fixed.
9. WORK WITH ELECTRIC TOOLS
WARNING!
It is recommended to work with the
power tool at ambient tempera-
tures from -15 °C to +50 °C.
Initial test
Install a chuck and start the power tool
without load. Make sure that the pow-
er tool is free of extraneous noise and
that all switches and buttons are work-
ing properly. There should be no traces
of grease on the power tool. At the first
switch-on, the brushes are not lapped,
because of this, a characteristic smell and
sparks in the area of the ventilation holes
are possible.

On/off (Fig. 7)
power tool is turned on by pressing the
power button (1). To stop the operation
of the power tool, you must release the
power button. For continuous opera-
tion at maximum speed, press the pow-
er button (1) and, holding it in this posi-
tion, press the lock button (2). To turn off
the power tool from continuous opera-
tion, press and release the power button
again.
Adjusting the speed/switching the
direction of rotation of accessories
The frequency of rotation of the pow-
er tool can be smoothly adjusted by in-
creasing or decreasing the force of press-
ing the power button (1).
To change the rotation direction (right/
left), move the accessory rotation direc-
tion switch (3) up/down (Fig. 7).
WA R NI NG!
You can change the direction of ro-
tation of the accessory only after
the motor of the power tool has
stopped completely.
Work mode switch (Fig. 8)
WA R NI NG!
The operating mode switch can on-
ly be used when the motor of the
power tool is completely stopped.
Too strong pressure on the power
tool does not lead to faster work,
but on the contrary reduces pro-
ductivity and can cause a reduction
in the service life of the hammer
drill. Do not attempt to drill anchor
bolt holes or other similar holes in
concrete in drill mode.
Do not use the quick-release cam
chuck in the "hammer drilling"
mode or in the "chiseling" mode:
the service life of the power tool
will be shortened and the quick-re-
lease cam chuck may be damaged.
To change the operating mode, press the
lock (1), and then turn the mode switch
(2) to the required position.
