Fishwell Drain / Electric Pumpout
Recirculating Water System Operation
Before operating the system, make sure that the water pickup valve is in the open position. The water
pickup valve can be accessed through the aft cockpit floor hatch, on the starboard side of the bilge. To
fill the fishwell, press the switch marked "FISHWELL AERATOR" on the fish station control panel,
located under the starboard coaming cap. The fishwell overflow drain, located on the aft wall of the
fishwell, allows excess water to flow overboard.
The flow of water into the fishwell can be controlled at the aerator spray head, located on the port
side of the fishwell. To increase the flow of water, turn the spray head counterclockwise. To decrease
the flow, turn the spray head clockwise.
