Operation of your TV set
Standby position
(!)
The standby key (J) enables you to switch off the TV set with the remote
control:
o
Press key (!).
> The TV set is switched off, the red light comes on.
° To switch the TV set back on, press key - P + or one of the keys numbered 0 to 9.
> The green light comes on, the screen lights up and the selected channel
appears.

If the aerial does not receive a signal for more than 15 minutes (end of
; -
broadcast), the set automatically switches to standby.

If stopping for a long time, it is advised to use key
®
to switch off the TV set.
TV channel selection
- P + , 0 / 9
You have 2 possibilities :
°
Press key - P + on the remote control or the PROGRAM - and PROGRAM +
keys on the front of the TV set.
> The number appears in the top righthand corner of the screen and the channel
is selected. Each time the key is pressed, the number increases or decreases by
one figure.
or
°
Directly enter the channel number by using the keys numbered 0 to 9 on the
remote control.
> The number appears in the top righthand corner of the screen then the channel
is selected.
For a two-figure channel, the second figure should be added before the hyphen
disappears.

If you wish to make the channel number appear or disappear, refer to the

special features menu, display prog nr. (p. 11).

Press key P^P.
> The previously selected channel reappears on the screen,

Press P^P again to return to the original channel.
Return to the pre-adjustments

This function enables you to instantly find the picture and sound adjustments
you had stored beforehand with the pers. preference function (see p. 11).
° Press the green key PP.
> The previously stored adjustments are called up.
