Teletext
The teletext system is an information system which can be consulted the same
way as a newspaper or magazine. Among other things, it gives you access to
subtitles for the deaf or people who are unfamiliar with English.
A main index shows you the various headings and subjects to which you have
access. The presentation and the contents of the headings differ according to
the channel which broadcasts the information.
For you it is a question of selecting the heading or subject number you wish to
consult.
Switching teletext on
o Press the (H) key.
> The channel is replaced by a teletext picture. The main index appears
(generally on page 100), with a line of news on the top and an options line on
the bottom of the screen.
To quit teletext, press (^) again.
1
If the selected channel does not broadcast teletext, PI 00 appears and the
j
screen remains black (In this case quit teletext and choose another channel).
