Poor picture
The causes of a poor quality picture may be the following :
The aerial receives interference or is not properly oriented towards the transmitter.
The proximity of mountains or high buildings may be responsible for ghost pictures,
echoing or shadows. In this case, change the orientation of the outside aerial. Check if your
channel is well tuned or finely tune it: see "channel search" (p. 4).
The brightness or contrast is maladjusted ? Press the green key PP or go back to the
adjustment.
No picture
The aerial plug is disconnected from the aerial socket.
Can your aerial receive on this frequency band ?
Is the equipment connected to the TV set working (Is there a cassette ?).
You have not selected the right device with the remote control (13*)/ start again or press
□
.
You are still in teletext mode ? Press the (=) key.
No sound
The silence key «$( has been used ?
The headphones are still plugged in ?
Only one loudspeaker works ? The balance is maladjusted (see Sound menu).
Remote control
The TV set does not react to the remote control.
The orange light on the TV set no longer flashes ? Change the batteries.
Is the TV set's infrared cell masked by an object ?
Menu
You have not selected the menu you wanted ? Press the MENU key to remove the displayed
menu, then begin again.
The menus appear automatically, one after the other:
the TV set is in demonstration mode, press MENU to stop it.
The menus appear in a foreign language ?
Go back to the language choice in the installation menu (p. 3).
Still no results ?
If there are still no results or if one of the following symptoms appears, contact your dealer's
after-sales service department:
A white horizontal line appears across the screen.
The light on your TV set flashes without the use of the remote control.
Whatever the case, never try to repair the TV set yourself.
