Operation
Selecting the main menu
The MAIN MENU gives you access to the special adjustments and functions
of your TV set.
o
Press the MENU key on the remote control.
> MAIN MENU appears on the screen as well as the channel number.
The coloured A, B, C, D and E keys give access to the various choices.
The - + key enables you to make adjustments. The MENU key enables you to
quit or call up the menu.

Adjusting the picture
After having called up the MAIN MENU (see above):
o Press the red key A.
> The PICTURE menu appears on the screen.
Brightness, colour, contrast
o
Press the coloured key (A, B or C) corresponding to the adjustment you wish
to make.
> A horizontal ladder appears on the bottom of the screen.
o Press the - + key to adjust.
> The cursor moves according to your adjustment.
o
Press one of the coloured keys to switch from one adjustment to another.

Screen size
Some TV programmes may be broadcast in 16/9 format (cinemascope type
format). The proportions of these pictures are different to those of your screen.
The screen size function guarantees a compatibility between the size of the
picture and the size of your screen.
PICTURE MENU
° Press the blue key D.
A BRIGHTNESS
> NORMAL appears on the bottom of the screen.
B COLOUR
C CONTRAST
o Press the - + key.

> WIDE appears and a black band appears on the top and the bottom of the
screen.

This adjustment is useful for 16/9 pictures only. It automatically switches back
to normal with each change of channel.
To quit the PICTURE menu, press the MENU key on the remote control.
