If the Harmar Mobility Pinnacle SL600 chair does not respond to the remote control after new batteries are installed, the issue could be that the remote call/send control needs to be re-programmed. Both controls must be programmed in one cycle, starting with the ON/OFF switch in the OFF position and disconnecting the 6-pin footrest and 8-pin chair wire harnesses from the chassis.

Had new batteries installed by dealer today and the charger was moved to the top. The lift is jerky...stops and restarts. Do the batteries need to charged before I use the chair?

Yes, the batteries of the Harmar Mobility PINNACLE SL600 need to be fully charged before using the chair after installation. The lift should be moved to the top or bottom charging stations to ensure the batteries are fully charged, and the power supply must be plugged in with the lift turned on for charging to occur.
