    1. General information Read and understand the user manual befo- re using the lift. Keep the user manual in a dry, safe and accessible place near the lift. The manufacturer reserves the right to make minor product changes.
  • Page 9 This lift is manufactured in accordance with the illustrated guideline. Follow the instructions in this user manual to work safely and responsibly. Improper use of the lift can lead to serious injuries and damage to material or property.

    2. Safety regulations Only experienced persons may use the lift. Use the lift to perform inspection, mainte- nance, and repair work. Always wear safety shoes when working with the lift and also PPE appropriate to the work being carried out on the vehicle.
  • Page 11 Prevent accidents, keep the workplace clean and tidy. Always use the lift according to the manu- facturer’s instructions. Check cabling and piping, repair damage or defects before using the lift. The electrical connections may only be made by trained and experienced persons.
  • Page 12 Make sure the car engine is off, in gear and on the handbrake. Make sure the surface is level and firm. The lift is designed for lifting vehicles up to 4000kg in a closed space, any other use is prohibited. NB! Make sure that safety devices are in place when using the lift.
  • Page 13 The supplier is not responsible for unautho- rized changes to the lift. Removal or disconnection of hydraulic, elec- trical or safety devices is prohibited. Only lift authorized vehicles without excee- ding the maximum lifting capacity. No persons may come near the lift during the lifting and/or lowering process.
  • Page 14 Install the lift securely to the ground in accordance with the regulations to prevent instability and resulting damage or injury. Ensure a safe zone of at least 1 meter around the vehicle lift before raising or lowering the lift. The operator may only go under the lift when it is locked.

    3. Assembly Only qualified persons are allowed to install the lift. Installation site must have proper power connections and ground wires. Power source must be 16A/20A fused. Foundation Requirements Concrete strength class: C20-25 (250kg/cm2) Minimum foundation dimensions: 4000mm x 3000mm x 200mm (see Fig. 1). Newly poured concrete must cure for 28 days.

  • Page 18 Fig. 7 Mounting locking system Steel cable of the locking system is mounted with t-rip in column without a hydraulic pump. Loosen the T-rip and feed the steel cable along the synchronization steel cable to the column with a hydraulic pump (Fig. 8). Fig.
  • Page 19 Installing the hydraulic pump Fix the hydraulic pump with M8*20mm bolts, washers and nuts (Fig. 13) against the square plate (Fig. 12).   • Page 21 Connecting the electrical supply Attention! The electrical supply must be connected without vol- tage. Only experienced electricians are allowed to make the electri- cal connection. Screw on mounting plate for control panel with M8 screws. Fasten the control panel to the mounting plate.

    Remove spring washer (4,Fig.23) from pin and then pin (2,Fig.23) from arm (1,Fig.23). Lubricate pin, locking teeth and lifting body gears (3, Fig. 23) with EP40 multi-grease. Place arm in recess of lifting body, align holes and feed through pin. Remove spring washer (4,Fig23) with spring washer pliers, install rubber pad.

    Lift test Testing Pre-Checklist: • Nut and bolt connections are tight. • Buttons function smoothly and spring back into position when released. • Hydraulic lines close and are securely fastened. • No leaks in hydraulic system. • The electrical supply meets the lifting bridge requirements and is proper- ly grounded.
  • Page 24 Lower the vehicle lift completely and check whether the oil tank is suffi- ciently filled. In the event of malfunctions, please contact your Falco sales point. During an emergency, switch off the power using the emergency stop (2, fig 26).

    The lift must be disposed of in accordance with legislation and regulations. Consult your government for the guidelines regarding the disposal of waste.     • Oil level in oil tank must be sufficient and oil must not be contaminated or outdated, drain and replace or top up with Falco CH46V hydraulic oil if necessary. • Gaskets must not be worn, replace if necessary.
