LED Indicators

The following table explains the LED Indicator shown on the device.

Device power up is indicated by audible beeps and simultaneous
blinking of the red and yellow LEDs for four times.
Red LED blinks and an audible alert is heard when receiving encod-
ed messages. The device vibrates depending on the programming.
Red LED illuminates until the device is power cycled or the device
plays the new messages.
If programmed, an audio reminder plays every minute to indicate the
unread messages.
At any time, press and release the Reset button to view the battery
status.
● Solid Green - Battery level is high.
● Solid Yellow - Battery level is medium.
● Solid Red - Battery level is low.
● Blinking Red - Battery level is critically low. The red LED and the
battery LED blink simultaneously every 2 minutes with a tone to
remind you to charge or replace the battery.
When the battery is discharged, the device plays an audible alert
before powering down.
NOTE: If the Battery Level Announcement option is ena-
bled, the device announces the battery level status when you
press and release the Reset button.
When the Function Switch is moved to an unprogrammed channel,
the device plays a low frequency tone.
● The yellow LED is turned on while in message management.
There are four different tones defined within the message man-
agement.
● When you rewind messages, the device plays a tone after every
10 seconds skipback.
● When you delete messages, the device plays a tone indicating
that the deletion is in progress until all unlocked messages are
deleted.
● While in Standby mode, if the fast forward or rewind button is
pressed, the device plays a tone to indicate that the buttons are
not functional.
● A yellow LED indicates the activity on channels in Scan mode.
Different blinking patterns of the yellow LED indicate activity on
different channels.
