Channel Options

You can program up to five different receiving frequencies and their corresponding parameters such as
bandwidth, tone system, and coding option.
5.13.1

Channel Bandwidth

The device can operate on 12.5 kHz Channel Spacing (Narrowband) or 25 kHz Channel Spacing
(Wideband).
5.13.2

Reset Function

Allow you to set the method to reset the device after receiving a page.
The following are the eight available reset functions:
Automatic
Resets the device when the carrier drops.
Delayed
Waits momentarily before checking for carrier drop to reset the device.
Muted Delayed
Waits momentarily before checking for carrier drop to reset the device. Mutes the speaker and stored
voice recording when the carrier drops.
Revert
Reverts to Monitor mode after receiving a Selective Call page.
Delayed Revert
Waits momentarily before checking for carrier drop and then reverts to Monitor mode.
Muted Delayed Revert
Waits momentarily before checking for carrier drop and then reverts to Monitor mode. Mutes the speaker
and stored voice recording when the carrier drops.
Time-out
Resets the device after the preprogrammed time.
Manual
The audio remains turned on when pressing the Reset button in Selective Call and Silent Scan modes.

Audible and Vibrate Alerts

Allows you to determine which alert tone to play and which pattern to vibrate when receiving a page for each
call address.
For each channel, the device can support up to 15 call addresses with 10 individuals and 5 groups. Each call
address can be programmed to alert with different tone and vibration patterns.
Tone Alert
Select from 10 preprogrammed tones and up to five custom audio alerts.
