Vibrate Alert
Select a continuous or pulsed vibration pattern.
NOTE: Depending on the function switch alert type option setting, the device provides an audible,
vibration, or combined audible or vibration alert.

Setting the Squelch Level

This feature allows you to set the squelch value.
Procedure:
Set the squench level by using the following options.
Option
Setting the squelch level using Programming
Software
Setting the squelch level using device
Chapter 5: Device Programming Software
Actions
Select the squelch value ranging from 1–5 using
the slide bar. The default value is 3.
NOTE:
○ Level 1 - Device is operating in tight
squelch.
○ Level 5 - Device is operating in loose
squelch.
Perform the following actions.
○ To adjust squelch level up, press and hold
the Fast Forward button and Play button si-
multaneously.
○ To adjust squelch level down, press and hold
the Rewind button and Play button simulta-
neously.
NOTE:
This feature will not work at Scan mode.
