IT MUST BE KEPT IN ITS ENTIRETY AND IN AN ACCESSIBLE PLACE FOR THE WHOLE WORKING LIFE OF THE HOB. WE ADVISE YOU TO READ THIS MANUAL AND ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS THEREIN CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE HOB.

    If the hob is installed on top of an oven, the latter must be equipped with a cooling fan. In case of installation on an empty kitchen unit with doors, a separation panel must be placed under the hob.

    (fig. B). 2.4 Inserting the hob into the hole in the work surface Be very careful when inserting the hob. If the process is not followed correctly as described, the hob may be damaged. Before inserting it, remove the racks (if they are mounted) and burners from the hob.

    Do not remove this plate for any reason. The plug at the end of the supply cable and the wall socket must be of the same type and must conform to the applicable legislation on electrical installations. Make sure that the supply line is suitably earthed.

    The hob is preset for natural gas G20 (2H) at a pressure of 20 mbar. To set it up for supply using other types of gas, see “5. ADAPTATION TO DIFFERENT TYPES OF GAS”.

    The appliance must not be built in and connected to the supply before the following operations have been completed. The cooker hob is preset for natural gas G20 (2H) at a pressure of 20 mbar. If other types of gas are to be used, the nozzles must be replaced and the primary air must be adjusted.

    When the burner is lit, the relevant activation knob will light up to indicate this. The knob will turn off a few seconds after it is turned to the O position or if the burner goes out accidentally. The knob light turns on and off gradually.

    Do not use a steam jet for cleaning the appliance. 8.1 Cleaning the hob To keep the hob in good condition it should be cleaned regularly after use. Let it cool first. 8.1.1 Ordinary daily cleaning of the glass surfaces To clean and preserve the glass surfaces, always use only special products that do not contain abrasives or chlorine-based acids.
