7. FAQ
(1) Do the network switch and the wireless router require specific settings?
The network switch doesn't require specific settings. You need to enable DHCP server on the
wireless router and ensure the IP addresses in the pool don't start with "169.254".
(2) Why can't the VDirector find online devices?
Ensure the network switch's broadcasting function is not disabled specifically.
(3) Do the transmitter and receiver support RS232 routing?
Yes. RS232 and audio routing will always follow video routing.
(4) Is it available to configure video wall in the One-to-Many application?
Yes.
(5) What about the networking size?
One iSwitch 265K-T (Transmitter/ Encoder) can be displayed by up to 50x iSwitch 265K-R
(Receiver/ Decoder) at the same time.
Note: As the number of the watching receivers increases, the end-to-end latency increases
accordingly.
(6) May I change the matched transmitter for a receiver without using VDirector app?
Yes. The matched transmitter will change by simply holding on the ID key in the front panel
of a receiver for 2 seconds.
