ATTENTION! BECOME ALERT! YOUR SAFETY IS INVOLVED!
■ Never perform service or maintenance with en-
gine running.
■ Keep all persons and animals away from oper-
ator control area while performing adjustments,
service, or maintenance.
■ Eye protection must be used when removing or
installing scarifier shank clips.
■ Do not allow bystanders, children or animals in
the area when operating, attaching, removing,
assembling, or servicing equipment.
■ Tighten all bolts, nuts, and screws to torque
chart specifications. Check that all cotter pins
are installed securely to ensure equipment is in
a safe condition before putting unit into service.
■ Make sure all safety decals are installed.
Replace if damaged. (See Safety Decals section
for location.)
■ Use a suitable lifting device of sufficient capac-
ity. Use adequate personnel to handle heavy
components.

STORAGE

■ Follow manual instructions for blocking equip-
ment and storage.
■ Keep children, bystanders, and animals away
from the equipment and the storage area.
