Height of feed-dog
Turn handwheel until the feed-dog 12 1 is at its
highest working position. In this position the
feed-dog teeth must be 0.9 to 1 mm above the
needle plate 3.
A Gus tment
Loosen screw 93 slightly and set feed-dog to the
prescribed value by turning the lifting lever 94.
Gauge No. 3 9 8 0 2 4 03.
WARNING: Loosen screw on lifter lever only
slightly to avoid axial clearance in the spindle.
c) Feed-dog lift
When the rear feed-dog teeth are at the same height as the needle plate, the needle tip
should be flush with the needle plate. A tolerance of up to 1 mm above the stitch plate is
permitted.
Correction:

Remove oil pan cover

Loosen two screws 124 at lift eccentric and turn eccentric as required
-
Tighten screws.
