ADJUSTMENT OF LINK AND STITCH POSITION
(Left - half-left - Center- half-right - Right)
Dismantle handwheel, belt cover, motor cover and rear top frame cover. The front of the
link spindle is then accessible.
Place the special tool No. 398 0 0 1 04 through the hollow link spindle, while at the same
time turning the LCR knob backwards and forwards till the conical tip of the tool engages
in the hole of the link. This ensures that the link in its normal position pivots around the
center of the link spindle.
At the same time the LCR locking lever 6 1, must be engaged in the center position. If not,
the locknut and socket head screw 62 are released.
Set the locking lever to the prescribed position and re-tighten the socket head screw with
the nut. Remove tool.
