The distance from the edge of the stitch hole must be the same in each case. If not, correct
as follows:
Loosen screw 6 5 very slightly. Place special fork wrench No. 3 9 8 0 6 3 0 3 on the knurled
eccentric bolt 66. By turning slightly to left or right the needle can then be brought to the
desired position. Tighten screw 65.
IMPORTANT: Ensure that there is no clearance between take-up lever link and swivel
support when the eccentric is turned!

Turn stitch width knob t o position

and observe whether the zig-zag link block 6 7
contacts the screw head stop 68. If not, the limiting screw 6 9 should be turned back until
the link block reaches the stop. Turn handwheel and observe whether the left and right-
hand penetration are equidistant from the edge of the stitch hole.
