Fitting and removing the battery
 The chain saw will operate when the battery is installed, the power indicator LED is lit, and the trigger switch and trigger switch
lockout are engaged. Make sure the chain saw is properly positioned to prevent loss of control and possible serious injury.
Keep movable parts of the chain saw off the ground and away from objects that could become entangled.
NOTE
 The battery comes partially charged from the factory and needs to be fully charged before first use.

When charging is complete, LED will remain GREEN.
* A fully discharged battery will charge in about 47 minutes.

Verify battery is fully charged by removing battery from
charger, then pressing battery charge status button, and
checking LED display.

Unplug charger AC cord from the wall outlet.
Fitting the battery
1.
Press front hand guard forward. (Chain brake ACTIVATED
position)
2.
Make sure power indicator LED is turned off.
3.
Align ridges on battery with groove on chain saw, and insert
battery until battery latch gets in the complete position.
IMPORTANT
 Before using the chain saw, make sure that battery is set
correctly with battery latch in the complete position.
NOTE
 Battery latch is in the complete position when battery latch
is correctly engaged.
Removing the battery
1.
To remove battery, depress battery latch, and slide battery
out of the chain saw.
