Installing the Chute
Parts needed for this procedure:

Chute
1
Hand knob (60 inch decks only)
Machines with 50 or 54 inch Decks
1.
Tilt the chute and install the pin into the hole on
the mower deck.
2.
Pivot the chute back and toward the deck so the
chute is flush with the mower deck.

Note:
Ensure that the retaining hook on the
chute is out of the way so the chute opening
mounts flush to the deck.
3.
On the top of the chute, engage the
hook-shaped latch around the pivot rod of the
deflector assembly and install the rod into the
hole on the mower deck.

Hook the flexible latch on the chute to the
retaining clasp welded on the mower deck.
