4. Torque the 3 bolts (3/8 x 2-1/2 inches) to 51 to 65
N∙m (38 to 48 ft-lb).
5. Remove the bolts and nuts from the crumber-bracket
bar
(Figure
8).
Note: Discard the bolts.
6. Secure the angle tie to the tall, front angle conduit using
1 bolt (3/8 x 1 inch) and 1 nut (3/8 inch) as shown
in
Figure
8.
7. Torque the bolt (3/8 x 1 inch) to 51 to 65 N∙m (38 to
48 ft-lb).
8. Secure the tall, front angle conduit to the crumber
bracket using 2 washers and 2 bolts (1 x 2-1/2 inches)
and the 2 bolts previously removed
9. Torque the 2 bolts (1 x 2-1/2 inches) to 732 to 894
N∙m (540 to 660 ft-lb).
10. Secure the tall, rear angle conduit to the tall, front angle
conduit using 3 bolts (3/8 x 2-1/2 inches) and 3 nuts
(3/8 inch) as shown in
Figure 8

11. Torque the 3 bolts (3/8 x 2-1/2 inches) to 51 to 65
N∙m (38 to 48 ft-lb).
12. Secure the angle tie to the upper and lower angle
conduit assembly using 1 bolt (3/8 x 2-3/4 inches) and
1 nut (3/8 inch) as shown in
13. Torque the bolt (3/8 x 2-3/4 inches) to 60 to 76 N∙m
(44 to 56 ft-lb).

1. Remove the 6 hex-flanged bolts (12 x 30 mm) that
secure the rear-cover plate to the rear bulkhead of the
machine, and remove the cover plate
