Auto Edit Recording
As much as possible of the selections chosen will
be automatically recorded on the A and B sides of
the cassette in sequence.
Programming Edit Recording
You can make your favorite selections from 7 CD
and record them on cassette.
Notes:
To cancel the edit record mode, press the
[PLAY MODE] button.
The maximum program step is sixteen per
one side of the tape.
If your cassette deck is incorporating JVC's
COMPULINK system, synchronized recording
feature will function.

cannot be entered in the program.
How to Perform Auto Edit
Recording

Press the [STOP ( m )/CANCEL} button.
Press the [EDITING] button so that A EDIT is
displayed in the MULTI-MODE DISPLAY.
Set the recording time according to the type of
tape cassette loaded, using the [TIME/TRACK
(+10, +1] buttons.
[Example]
To set a period of 46 minutes, press the [+10]
button four times and then the [+1] button six
times.
. Press the [SIDE A/B] button.
. Press the [DISC] button @* to specify the
disc required.
. Total playing time appears in the MULTI-
MODE DISPLAY.
Press the [MEMORY] button, while both the
track number and the step number are flash-
ing. If flashing stops before you press
MEMORY
button, press the [DISC] button
@* again.
Set the cassette deck to the recording mode.
Press the [PLAY (» )/PAUSE (88 )] button.
When the final selection, programmed on the
Aside, ends, CD player-changer stops auto-
matically. To record on the other side of the
tape, turn the tape over and repeat steps 8
and 9.
Note:

When starting editing from any particular se-
lection of the disc, press the [SEARCH
(k¢4 , be! )] button to indicate the selection
and then press the [MEMORY] button, while
both the track number and the step number
are flashing.
After proceeding step 7, remaining time ap-
pears to show the available recording time.
If you wish to record as much as the time
displayed, perform steps 5-7.
