Call voice mail
When you receive a voice mail, the phone will send
you an alert. You can then call your voice mailbox
number to retrieve your voice mail. If the number is
empty, you will be prompted to enter the number.
Voice mail number
Generally, you can obtain two sets of numbers from
your network provider:
for the caller to leave a voice message (this
number can also be set via Call Forwarding/.../

for you to retrieve your voice messages

Broadcast SMS

This is a network service which allows you to receive
text messages of various contents, such as news, traffic,
etc. These messages are provided by the network to
the subscribers within a certain network area. If this
service is available, the network will provide you with
the broadcast channel numbers.
Reception
You can set the reception of broadcast messages
Off. If you select Off, you will not receive any broadcast
messages, even if you have set the corresponding
channel numbers.
Messages
1. When you receive a broadcast message, the contents
will appear on the idle screen directly until you press
any key to exit. Broadcast messages will not be saved
on your mobile phone or your SIM card. Once you
exit from the message screen, you will not be able to
read it again.
Note: If you set this option to On, the stand-by time of
your phone will be shortened.
Topics
<Add new>
You can add new channel numbers to the Topics list
so as to increase the types of broadcast messages which
you can receive. The channel number is a number
string containing not more than 3 digits.
Existing topics
Select a number, then press
the following operations:
Edit
Delete
On
or
soft key to carry out
Modify the channel number.
Delete a channel number from the
list. You will not receive any more
messages relating to this topic.
