9. Messages

Messages
You can enter
menu from the main menu, or
tap the second hard icon in stand-by screen to enter
the menu. The available sub-menus include: SMS,
MMS.

SMS

SMS is a convenient and affordable mode of
communication which enables you to send text
messages to the other party. You can use the
menu to send messages to another handphone or a
device that is capable of receiving SMS.
Write message
Note: You need to enter the correct SMS center
number before you can send SMS. The number can be
obtained from your network operator.
Write message
1. Enter
menu, tap the icon on the left
of the recipient text box to open the phonebook
and select a recipient, or tap on the recipient text
box to open group recipient input screen to enter
the recipient.

2. Once you have entered the recipients, tap on the
text editing area to open the SMS editor and
input your message.
3. Once you have written the message, tap
key to access the following options:
Send now
Send & save
Save
Save as user
defined
Insert defined
SMS
SMS
Note: If your SMS is not sent successfully, you can re-
send it. If your SMS cannot be sent successfully after
several attempts, please check if your SMS center
number has been set correctly.
Inbox
The Inbox stores the SMS you have received.
You can store the SMS in the SIM card (storage
capacity depends on your SIM card). You can also
store the SMS in your phone, which provides you
with an additional 1000 slots to store your SMS. You
Send the SMS.
Send and save the SMS.
Save the SMS and store it in Outbox.
Save the SMS in user defined SMS
list.
Select a message from the user
defined SMS list, such as
or Emergency, etc and insert it to the
end of your SMS.
