search for pinyin combinations 'ai', 'an', 'ang',
'ao', so on and so forth. If there are matching
records in the phonebook, the screen will scroll to
the first matching record.
3. If there are no matching records that start with
pinyin combination 'a', the phone will search for
English names that start with the letter 'a'. If
there are matching records in the phonebook, the
screen will scroll to the first matching record.
4. If there are no matching records at all, the cursor
will remain in the same position.
Add new
Open the add contacts screen, tap to activate the editor
of the respective fields to enter the phone number and
other information of the new contact. Tap on the
Contact picture field to open the pictures list and select
a picture to be associated with the contact.
SIM phonebook
As SIM phonebook record contains a name and a
phone number.
Phone phonebook (Smart phonebook)
The entries in the Smart phonebook are called
Namecards. A namecard contains: name, phone
number (mobile number, office number, home

number, fax number, pager number), email, address,
postal code and notes.
Every namecard must include a name (mandatory),
and at least one other information.
When you add a contact to the smart phonebook, you
can also select a group for the contact. The available
groups include: Default, Family, Friend, Colleague,
Society and Private. Tap the arrows at the side of
group settings to select a group.
Managing phonebook entries
Managing phonebook list
A phonebook list displays a list of names. There is an
icon on the right of the phonebook record to indicate
the phonebook type. If it is a SIM phonebook entry,
a SIM card icon will be displayed; if it is a smart
phonebook entry, a default phone number icon will
be displayed.
Select a name from the list and carry out the following
operations via options menu:
Dial
There are 2 dialing methods: Dial
or Handsfree dial.
Edit
Edit the selected record.
Delete
Delete the selected record.
