Safety Alerty Symbol
This is the safety alert symbol. The safety alert symbol will
direct the operator's attention to information that involves
personal safety and the safety of others.
Safety Messages
The words DANGER, WARNING, or CAUTION are used with the safety alert symbol. Learn to recognize these
safety alerts and follow the recommended precautions and safety practices.
Indicates an imminently hazardous situa on that, if not avoided,
will result in DEATH OR VERY SERIOUS INJURY.
Indicates an poten ally hazardous situa on that, if not avoided,
could result in DEATH OR SERIOUS INJURY.
Indicates a poten ally hazardous situa on that, if not avoided,
will result in MINOR INJURY.
Informa onal Messages
The word important or note are not related to personal safety but are used to give addi onal informa on and ps for
opera ng or servicing this equipment.
IMPORTANT: Iden fi es special instruc ons or procedures which, if not strictly observed, could result in
damage to or destruc on of the machine, process, or its surroundings.
NOTE: iden fi es points of par cular interest for more effi cient and convenient repair or opera on.
Safety Signs
Do not remove or obscure Danger, Warning, or Cau on signs. Replace any Danger, Warning or Cau on
signs that are not readable or are missing. Replacement signs are available from the dealer in the
event of loss or damage. The actual loca on of the safety signs is illustrated at the end of this sec on.
Keep signs clean by wiping off regularly. Use a cleaning solu on if necessary.
If parts have been replaced or a used machine has been purchased, make sure all safety signs are in the
correct loca on and can be read. Illustra ons of safety sign loca ons are located at the rear of this sec on.
Replace any safety signs that cannot be read or are missing. Clean the machine surface thoroughly with a cleaning solu-
on before replacing signs. Replacement safety signs are available from a dealer.
