settings

play works
only within a title (DVD)
or a track
(Video
CD/CD).
(If the title/track
is
completed
before end location
B is specified,
the
end point of the title/track serves as end location B.)
• After the player
is set to the "Lock All" setting
in
"2 Ratings",
none of the initial settings,
including
"2 Ratings",
can be changed
if the DVD disc is
left inside
the player.
In this case,
remove
the
disc, and unlock the _layer.

• No sound
Symptom
No sound from the
external
speakers
of
the stereo system
or
other equipment.
No sound from the
stereo speakers.
Remedy
• Ensure
that the player
is connected
properly.
• Ensure
that
the input
settings
for the TV and
stereo system are correct.
• The In/Out select
switch on the player's
left-side
panel is set to "IN". Set it to "OUT".
• When
the
outer
cover
of the player
is closed,
sound
from
the stereo
speakers
automatically
turns
off to conserve
power
and
battery
con-
sumption.
• The volume
level is set to "0" (No sound).

display
the image
from an external
device
such as a video camera,
set it to "IN".
--To
play discs, set it to "OUT".
• The
display
mode
of the LCD is set to "OFF".
Select a mode other than "OFF".
cEnsure
that the player is connected
properly.
• Ensure
that
the
input

for
the
TV
is
"Video".
