Using a menu
Press TITLE during
play.
(A listof the titles on the disc is nowdisplayed.)
• Pressing
TITLE
again
resumes
play
from
the
scene
when
TITLE
was first pressed.
Example:
Tilt the joystick (4,, V,
<,
I_) to select the preferred title and
press SELECT or PLAY (D).
(The selected title now starts playing.)
Press MENU during play.
(The DVD menu available on the disc is now displayed,)
oPressing
MENU again resumes
play from the scene
when MENU was first pressed.
Example:
Tilt the joystick (k,
Y, <1, I_) to select the preferred item and
press SELECT.
(The selected item is now executed.)
oTo display the menu screen one after another, repeat step 2.
For your reference:
=In the case of the remote
control,
select
the item using the cursor buttons instead
of the joystick.
eThe
NUMBER
button
on the remote con-
trol unit is also effective
for selecting the
title or item. (See page 21 for information
on entering numbers.)
When
the title or item is selected
using
the NUMBER
button,
pressing
SELECT
or PLAy([:>)
is not necessary.
• Title menu
If the DVD has multiple titles recorded on
it, it is possible to select the preferred title
from the title menu to start playback.
DVD menu
Some
DVDs
have
unique
menus.
For ex-
ample,
these
menus
can
be for language
selection,
" audio
output
selection
and/or
subtitle
language
selection,
etc.
These
menus
are called
"DVD
menus".
Although
the
DVD
menu's
contents
and operation
differ
from
disc to disc,
the above
proce-
dures
explain
basic
operation
when
this
feature
is used.
