pressed once midway through a chap-
ter/track, play returns to the start of that
chapter/track. When it is pressed again,
a chapter/track is skipped each time the
button is pressed.

oThe speed of advance (reverse) is rela-
tively slow at first. When the button is
pressed again, the speed becomes
faster. (Each time the button is pressed,
the speed increases up to 5 steps.)
oNormal play is resumed when PLAY (D)
is pressed.
For your reference:
oFor DVDs and Video CDs, audio will be
heard during scanning at the initial scan
speed. (See page 64.) For CDs, audio
will be heard during scanning at every
scan speed (1 to 5).
I oWhen SKIP/SEARCH (HI<I, IH_I) (in the case of the remote control, SKIP or |
SLOW/SEARCH) is pressed during menu play of Vidpo CDs with playback control,
a menu screen may sometimes be recalled.
