10.3 Apply an audio input to the Page input
on the rear panel. Verify that when audio is
applied to the Page input that it takes priority
over all inputs and ducks the sources. Verify
that when the audio signal is removed from
the Page input that the audio from the other
input(s) ramps back up and is audible.
10.4 On the front panel, set the Mic/Line input
gain control to 12 o'clock. On the rear panel,
set the Front Line Mix / Front Mic Duck DIP
switch to the Front Mic Duck position.
- Apply a 1kHz, -50dBv +/- 3dBv to the Mic/
LIne input. When the audio signal is acti-
vated, the front mic/line input can either be
mixed without ducking or override the
sources and duck the sources, depending on
the setting of the rear panel DIP switch.
- Verify that when the audio signal is applied
to the Mic/LIne input that the other audio
inputs are ducked (muted).
- Verify that when the audio input is removed
from the Mic/Line input that the audio input
from the other sources ramps back up and
becomes audible again.
11. Remote Control Test
11.1 On the rear panel, connect a CC-16
controller. Verify that it overrides the source
select switch and the master volume control
on the front of the unit. The remote includes
a two position source select and volume
control.
12. Mute Control Test
12.1 Connect a CC-16 controller to the
remote connector on the rear panel. Verify
that whe the remote control is connected, it
mutes main signals and aux output signals.
13. DIP Switch Function Test
13.1 PAGE/MIC NORMAL or BYPASS
MASTER
TEST PROCEDURES
103
- Set the Page/Mic Normal - Bypass Master
switch to the Bypass Master position. Verify
that inputs 3 (PAGE) and 4 (MIC) are not
subject to master volume attenuation.
Otherwise inputs 3 and 4 are subject to
master volume attenuation.
13.2 OUTPUT MONO or OUTPUT STEREO
- Place the Output Mono or Output Stereo
DIP switch on the rear panel to the Output
Stereo position. Apply a line level audio signal
to Inputs A and B on the rear panel. Verify a
stereo output from the Output 1 and 2 con-
nectors located on the rear panel.
- Remove the input signal. Change the
Output Mono / Output Stereo switch to the
Output Mono position. Re-apply the line level
signal to inputs A and B. Verify that the inputs
are now summed internally by the amplifier.
13.3 FRONT MIC MIX or FRNT MIC DUCK
- Place the Front Mic Mix / Frnt Mic Duck
switch to the Front Mic Mix position. Apply a
line level audio signal to the Input A conn-
ector on the rear panel. Apply a 1kHz,
-50dBv +/- 3dBv to the Mic/LIne input. Verify
that the Mic/Line audio input is mixed with
the audio applied to Input A.
- Place the Front Mic Mix / Frnt Mic Duck
switch to the Frnt Mic Duck position. Apply
a line level audio signal to the Input A connec-
tor on the rear panel. Apply a 1kHz, -50dBv
+/- 3dBv to the Mic/LIne input. Verify that the
Mic/Line audio input causes the Input A
audion to be muted, and that it ramps back
up and returns when the Mic/Line audio input
is removed.
13.4 AUX OUT EQ or AUX OUT FLAT
- Place the Aux Out EQ / Aux Out Flat switch
to the Aux Out EQ position. Apply an audio
signal to the Input A or B input. Verify that the
output signal from the Aux Out connector
mirrors the EQ selected for the main output.
Switch for aux out EQ mirror main output
