General
Problem .
| The unit does not work.
You cannot program items
such as the time/day
adjustment (p. 25).
Previously programmed
information is erased.
"Recharge" is displayed,
"{ 01" flashes or the unit
beeps intermittently.
_ You charged the battery
fully, but "Recharge" is still
_ displayed and/or "f 81"
continues to flash.
The IN USE/CHARGE
indicator light does not go
out while charging.
If you cannot solve your
problem
Remedy
= Check the settings (p. 13-22).
Charge the battery fully (p. 14).
Clean the charge contacts and charge
again (p. 15).
olnstall the battery properly (p. 14, 70).
Place the handset on the base unit and
unplug the AC adaptor to reset. Plug in
and try again.
- @Re-insert the handset battery and place
the handset on the base unit.
Try again.

unit is in the talk, speakerphone or
intercom mode, when viewing the caller
information, or while the answering
system is in use. |
_ O©Move closer to the base unit.
. Olf a power failure occurs, programmed
information may be erased. Reprogram
if necessary.
