Storing Your Area Code
We recommend that you first program your area code before using the
Caller ID feature (p. 38). Incoming calls with the same area code will then
be recorded in the Caller List without the area code. You do not have to
remove the area code before calling back or storing. When incoming calls
with a different area code are received, "1" will automatically be added
before the area code.
The TALK indicator light must be off and the base unit must be in
the stand-by mode before programming. Use the handset near the
base unit.
