Preparation
The leader tapes in both decks must be wound up beforehand.
(See page 66.)
H Press INPUT SELECTOR to select "TAPE".
Q Press ^ OPEN on the both decks, and then
insert the tapes.

Close each deck's holder.
Rl Press REV MODE to select the reverse mode.

When you wish to monitor the sound while recording
HIGH: When you wish to record at high speed (about 2.0 times
normal speed)
While recording, both deck 1 and 2 indicators light up. The tape
direction indicator « or >) shows deck 2 direction,
If either deck 1 or deck 2 stop, the other deck also stops.
To Stop recording:
Press ■.
Both decks will stop.
To enjoy another source while recording:
start playing the other sound source.
You can change the volume level and tone quality without affecting
the recording.
•During high speed recording, turn off TVs or any other image
projecting equipment so as to prevent static from being recorded.
•Tone changes and special effects cannot be recorded.
•The recording level and the noise reduction effect of the original
(playback) tape will be recorded on the new tape.
