Playinga disc on other devices
Finalizing adisc (p. 62) allows you to view
movies recorded by your camcorder oil
other DVD devices. However. we do not
guarantee proper playback oil all devices.
You can play back DVD+RW oil other
devices without finalizing tile disc.

• Do nol use an 8 cm CD adaptor with an 8 cm
DVD as it may cause a mall_lnction.
• Make sure lhat a _erticMly inslalled dcvice is
placed in a position such as tllat lhe disc can be
placed horizontally.
• On some devices, some discs may not be played
back, movies may h'ceze b_>r an instant between
scenes, or some fimclions may be disabled.

recording date and timt" wllere the subtitles
normally appear (p. 76). Rel_:r 1o the instruction
manual of your device.
• If you have creatcd a DVD menu (p. 64), you
can select the desired scene in the menu.

recorded.

If you finalize the disc (p. 62) that was
recorded on your camcorder, you can play
back the disc on a computer that DVD
playback application is installed.

linalize the disc (p. 62). Othcrwise, a
mall/inctioll illLly occur.
• Make sure tllat the DVD drive of lhe compuler
ctln play an 8 cm DVD.

• The disc may not be played back, or the movies
may not be played smoothly on some
