To prevent a Proactive PMBAB42 mattress and gel mattress from sliding, you should use the mattress retainer system. Flip up the mattress guard at the bottom edge of the foot deck to reduce mattress movement. Also, ensure that the mattress is appropriate for the bed and properly sized to meet entrapment zone dimensional guidelines. Adjust the mattress retainer system accordingly to keep the mattress fixed in place.
