Exchanging the CD drive (ODD)

Remove the 4 screws holding the lower bracket and then
remove the CD drive. Put in the new CD drive.
The locations of the screws may differ in drives from other
manufacturers.
Please inquire at a service center if you have problems adding
drives from other manufacturers.
(for 400S7A/400S7B models only)

Connect the power/signal cables to the CD drive and
reassemble the CD drive bracket in the opposite order as you
disassembled it, then screw in the 2 screws.
Be careful to arrange cables so they do not become caught
under the CD drive bracket.
You cannot close the cover if cables are not arranged
correctly.

Close the front cover and computer cover and refer to
the manual for the CD drive you purchased to set it up as
necessary.
