Setting a Boot Password
If you have forgotten an administrator or user
password
You can cancel the password using the computer main board's
CMOS battery.
If you have lost the hard drive password, you need support
from a service center, and there is a separate charge for these
services.

Turn off the computer and unplug the power cable from the
computer.

Open the computer cover.

If the CMOS battery socket is Type A
Press the latch holding in the CMOS battery and remove the
battery, then reinsert after 1-2 minutes.
If the CMOS battery socket is Type B
Press one edge of the CMOS battery with a finger and remove
the battery, then reinsert after 1-2 minutes.

Close the computer cover and connect the power cable, then
start the computer.

The password has been canceled.
