TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
OUTPUT PROBLEMS
(SYMPTOMS)
The V275-S does not have welding
output.
If for any reason you do not understand the test procedures or are unable to perform the test/repairs safely, con-
tact the Lincoln Electric Service Department for electrical troubleshooting assistance before you proceed.

TROUBLESHOOTING & REPAIR
POSSIBLE AREAS OF
MISADJUSTMENT(S)
OUTPUT PROBLEMS
1. Make certain the reconnect
switch and jumper lead are con-
figured correctly for the input
voltage being applied.
2. Make sure the Local/Remote
switch is in the "Local" position.
See the Operation Section. If
the problem is solved check the
remote control device and
associated machine circuitry.

RECOMMENDED
COURSE OF ACTION
1. Check the reconnect switch
and associated leads for loose
or faulty connections. See the
wiring diagram.
2. Perform the Main Switch
Board Test.
3. Perform the Output Diode
Module Test.
4. The input filter capacitors may
be faulty. Check, and if either is
faulty replace both.
5. The Control board may be
faulty. Perform Control Board
Tests.
