Lock Menu Typical Setup Requirements
As shown above, with the Lock System turned on:
- Set the initial 4-digit password "0-0-0-0" with the number
keypad. After setting the password and confirming it, use the
Up/Down arrow to highlight an option like TV Rating-General,
then press ENTER or the Right arrow.
Navigating Within the Lock Menu
Use the Up/Down/Left/Right arrows to select and adjust or set
the rating for an option. For "Language" for example, use the
"TV-PG" setting. (See the Mini Glossary, Ratings Charts on this
and the next page for rating definitions.) Use MENU to return
to the previous menu.
Activating Your Blocking Scheme
After you have selected and adjusted the Lock menu options to
your preference:
- Set the Lock System option to either On or Off.

Program is inappropriate for preteens, with a greater degree of offensive material

Not for children under age 17. Strong elements of sex and/or violence.
Not for children under age 17 under any circumstances. Strong sexual content.
Same as NC-17 rating.
