Printing Maintenance
When Printing Becomes Faint or Colors are Incorrect
When printing becomes faint or colors are incorrect, the print head nozzles are probably
clogged. Follow the procedures below to clean these nozzles.

Before Performing Maintenance
Remove the FINE Cartridge once, then insert it into place again. Refer to
"Replacing a FINE Cartridge" in the
Direct Printing Guide.
Step 1
efer to "Printing the Nozzle Check Pattern" in the
Direct Printing Guide.
After print head cleaning, print
the nozzle check pattern.
If the print quality is poor,

perform print head cleaning.
If the pattern is printed normally,

click Exit.
Step 2

If the problem remains after performing print head cleaning twice

If the problem still remains after performing print head deep cleaning twice
