When Printing Becomes Faint or Colors are Incorrect

When printing becomes faint or colors are incorrect, the print head nozzles are probably clogged.
Follow the procedures below to clean the nozzles.
Before Performing Maintenance
Remove the FINE Cartridge once, then insert it into place again. See
"Replacing a FINE Cartridge" on page 39.
Step 1
"Printing the Nozzle Check Pattern" on page 36
Step 2
If the problem remains after performing print head cleaning twice.
Step 3
If the problem still remains after performing print head deep cleaning twice.
Step 4
If ruled lines are misaligned, adjust the print head position.

After print head
cleaning, print the
