Before removing the display panel, follow these steps:

Prepare the computer for disassembly (see

Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see
Remove the display assembly:
1.
Remove the plastic piece (1) that covers the antenna connectors on the WLAN module.
2.
Disconnect the antenna cables (2) from the WLAN module.
3.
Disconnect the camera cable from the ZIF connector (3) on the system board.
4.
Remove the antenna cables and camera cable from the routing clips (4) next to the fan.
5.
Lift the protective tape (5) that covers the display connector on the system board. You do not need
to completely remove the tape.
6.
Disconnect the display cable from the ZIF connector (6) on the system board.
7.
Open the display (1) to 90° to open the hinges.
8.
Remove the six Phillips M2.5 × 5.0 screws (2) that secure the display assembly to the computer.
