Remove the U-pipe located in front of the LEV by

removing the braze from the two areas shown in
the figure.
* Cool the LEV with a wet cloth when brazing the
pipe.
Brazed areas

Braze the pipe that was removed in step 10 to

the new LEV.
Reverse the procedure to complete the
2
replacement.

Do the same for the 1A, 1B, and 2A sides.
* When the unit is airtight or charged with
refrigerant, pressurize the unit from the high
pressure side.
Failure to do so may damage the
compressor.
