3.15 Modular junction box
The modular junction box is used to transform the analog
signals from the Invacare Soft Control into digital signals, when
used in combination with a digital control box.
Mounting the modular junction box:
1.
Install the support plate in the base frame below the head
bed end, as shown. Secure it with the bottom screw, as
shown in A.

Remove the junction box cover. Insert the screws on both
B sides. Fasten them to the top two holes of the junction
box plate.

As shown above, the junction box is numbered from 1 to
5.
Insert the two blind plugs in sockets 2 and 4 of the
junction box.
4. Connect the extension cable to socket 1 of the junction
box.
5. Connect the other end to the control box hand
control socket.
6. Connect the hand control to socket 5 of the junction box.
7. Reattach the junction box cover. The cover acts as a
locking system.
