1. Power up the transceiver e-trans-50 with 12/24V DC.
With LiftMaster gate operators you can use the 24VDC external power connector to power the
transceiver.
2. Code the INGROUND e-LOOP INGROUND to e-trans-50 transceiver (consider max. 50 meter range) :
2.1 Press and release CODE button on the transceiver, the Code LED will illuminate.
2.2 Now place the magnet on the CODE recess on the e-LOOP.
The transceiver and e-LOOP will now pair. If pairing was successful,
the yellow LED of the e-LOOP and the blue Code LED of transceiver
will flash 3 times and exit code learn. The systems are now paired
and you can remove the magnet.
If pairing fails, the RX LED on transceiver will flash 3 times and
exit code learn.
3. Mount and calibrate e-LOOP:
3.1 Place e-LOOP device in the desired location as described above and move any
metal objects away from the e-LOOP.
3.2 Place magnet into the SET button recess on the e-LOOP until red LED flashes
twice, then remove the magnet.
3.3 The e-LOOP will take about 5 seconds to calibrate and once complete, the red LED
will flash 3 times.
3.4 Test the e-LOOP function with a vehicle. If required adjust the position of e-LOOP.
NOTE: After calibration, you may get an error indication. ERROR 1: Low radio range -Yellow LED flashes
3 times. ERROR 2: No radio connection -Yellow and Red LED flashes 3 times.
NOTE: Never fit near high voltage cables, this can affect the e-LOOP's detection capability.
4. To use the INGROUND e-LOOP with LiftMaster gate operators please follow next steps:
4.1 Connect the paired e-trans-50 transceiver to one of the 3 COMMAND terminals on the CB324EV
control board. E.g. IN1.
4.2 Go to the Advanced settings of CB324EV and choose the respective Input function setting in the
menu (e.g. i1 if connected to the IN1 terminal).
4.3 Set the chosen Input function setting to value
4.4 Got to Advanced settings and chose Timer to Close function
up to 5 Minutes.
